Works featured in the Gallery portion of this site are but a small sampling of a large body of work that began in the latter half of the 20th Century and extends through today.

Below is a statement that I wrote many years ago and it still holds true today. I would amend it only by saying: As an artist I like to think of my work as unique though my subject matter is not. The truth is that I am simply one of many throughout the ages who has dedicated their lives to documenting the human condition. It is my eternal hope that the truth of the human experience continues to be told, and that somehow we as a species come to realize that we are connected to each other and to the world around us.
Most of what you’ll see here are leather pieces. I use the faces and objects that I see every day to create pieces that speak to me. If you listen carefully they may speak to you too. Each carries it’s own message.
I enjoy working with natural materials and organic forms. They remind me that flaws provide character. And that perfection is simply a matter of perspective.
If you come upon a piece that gives you cause for pause or sparks some deep or even curious emotional response, I encourage you to take it home. "Live with it, explore it, enjoy it."
